Conjunctio is a place for people to discuss Geomancy, the form of divination, in theory and in practice. It’s meant as a forum for those actively studying the art of geomancy to share thoughts, data, resources, or whatever else seems relevant. It is not a place to ask for readings from others, but asking for assistance in interpreting your own results now and then is certainly fine. (EDIT: We have changed this policy. Ask away to your heart's content; just be aware that we make no particular assurances as to who might choose to answer, or their skill level.)
Beyond the initial post which you are reading right now, conversations going on here will be visible to members only— you need to make a Dreamwidth account to request membership— but anyone who is a member can see all posts and even write their own. To request membership, find the text at the top of this page which says "You're viewing [green button] conjunctio", and click that green button. This brings you to the Conjunctio "Community Profile" page, and on one side there are some choices, including a button "Join Community". (That button will be grayed out if you haven't logged in with Dreamwidth, so please create an account first if you don't have one yet.) Please feel free to leave a note in the comments here if you have any trouble with this process.
As in any group, let’s stay polite and respectful to each other and use common sense. People of all beliefs and persuasions, religious, political, or otherwise-- pantheist or atheist, social anarchist or alt-right, Montague or Capulet-- are welcome to post and comment here as long as they keep it civil, don't flamebait, and keep it related to geomancy. So far we have managed to maintain interesting conversation without the use of brute methods of behavior management, but I'm not afraid to use the moderator's hammer if it becomes necessary. As for new community posts written by any and all members, including yourself (and this is entirely welcome), I should let you know that I screen and moderate new posters to make sure everyone doesn't get spammed by something silly. So if you post something for the first time, please allow about 24 hours for it to appear.
Should you wish to introduce yourself a little bit, or read self-introductions from other members, there is a thread dedicated to that purpose here (though you won't be able to see it unless you become a group member).
All right, let’s get this party started!
